EMIG Synergic SWF 300-650A, Superb welding performance on MIG, MMA etc with synergic control & basic MIG control. Infinite control of welding amps & volts on wire feeder for easy setting. Additional functions include, pre-set material thickness prior to welding, crater fill, lift arc TIG & anti-stick on MMA. Packed full of features to give you the very best welding performance & simple user friendly no nonsense controls.

EMIG Synergic 2Pulse SWF 300-650A, The same superb welding performance & functions as the above, but with pulse & 2Pulse (double pulse) included. This gives spatter free high productivity welding, particularly beneficial for welding aluminium, stainless steels etc. Double pulse function gives TIG like appearance welds but MIG welding speed! Unlike most other pulse MIG’s these are simple to set & use, no programming or software to corrupt!

OPTeARC EMIG range of machines are extreme performance industrial machines constructed using our reknowned Mitsubishi Hybrid chopper technology, this combines the performance advantages of inverter technology with the rugged reliability of transformer based machines.

The benefits of this technology are not to be underestimated. Firstly, on CV (MIG/MAG) welding characteristics are superior to any conventional step voltage or thyristor MIG machine with a super smooth stable arc, low spatter & increased welding productivity. The PCB monitors the arc up to 10,000 times per second & makes tiny corrections to the output to seamlessly maintain the exact power. This even corrects unstable input power & long cable runs. Variable electronic inductance allows you to tune the arc characteristics to suit your exact requirements, a lower setting gives you a crisp high deposition cool arc, ideal for positional welding & minimising penetration on thin materials. increasing the inductance gives a softer arc with more penetration & minimal spatter. This technology can also result in higher MIG deposition rates & therefore faster welding & reduced welding costs. Also you can tune virtually all the weld spatter out of the arc if required. In addition, there is a built in arc start & finish circuit for instant smooth arc starting every time you press the trigger which prevents ‘machine gunning’ at the start & means its also possible to run aluminium wire on a standard MIG torch on any of these machines. Switch to CC (MMA + TIG) & the arc are again is perfect, with instant arc starts & smooth stable current from min to max power.

As an additional benefit power consumption is low like the best inverter & considerable savings can be made in electric cost, particularly over older machines & when using on CC.

To achieve all the advantages of these models you would previously have had to purchase a complex inverter based machine, however inverter technology is not rugged & reliable in industrial environments, they all suffer from major blow ups & typically have a life span of a few years for the best made German machines & often much less for others.

Our OPTeARC hybrid chopper technology solves the problem; you get all the performance benefits of a good inverter but with the rugged reliability of transformer based machines.  Furthermore, simple internal build & only one PCB fitted means less to go wrong & easy maintenance. Built in over current & over temperature circuits provide complete protection against overload conditions. These machines tolerate massive input voltage fluctuation without any failure.
