2020 updates for all models.

  1. Optional fume extractor output 110V or 230V to suit most extractor units – mount your extractor on the machine & the TS-MIG will power it directly. Optional ‘on demand’ fume extractor circuit, instantly switches on supply to extractor at start of weld & switches off after 10 seconds.
  2. Interconnector clamped at rear of wire feeder for extra support.
  3. Optional digital meter on wire feeder to show welding volts/amps.
  4. Water cooled interconnectors can now be fitted without removal of side panel.

Open or fully enclosed wire feeder- both 4×4 drive & offer exactly the same welding performance.

Enclosed wire feeder case is taller & slightly narrower than the open feeder. The wire spool is mounted vertical behind a larger metal door giving good protection of the welding wire. Optional castors can be fitted to allow the feeder to move across a floor easily. 

Open type wire feeder case is the most compact unit, built on a tough 3mm chassis with a small metal door to access the wire feed rollers. The welding wire spool is mounted on an angle at the rear of the chassis & is uncovered for easy access. An optional spool cover can be fitted to this to protect welding wire. Optional castors can also be fitted. Lower centre of gravity makes the open feeder a more stable & robust option if being dragged around a rough workshop floor on castors. Furthermore optional outriggers fitted with larger castors can be specified for even better stability on busy workshop floors.

Other wire feeder options – Horizontal suitcase wire feeder

Built into a tough GRP case, this is a very stable low profile option with the same performance as standard open or enclosed wire feeders.

Input voltage 400V 3 phase or 230V single phase. Other options such as 480V also available.
Wire feeder style Open or enclosed wire feeder, other options also available such as horizontal type, boom arm/robotic type.
Spool cover – open type only, Optional spool cover to protect wire reel from dust.
Swivel kit & castors (50mm dia castors). Fitted to underside of wire feeders allows feeder to sit on top of power source & swivel, the castors allow the feeder to move freely on the floor.
Digital meter kit. (Can also be supplied as accessory for fitting after). Bright digital display shows welding volts & amps while welding, can be calibrated to allow working EN1090 & QA procedures etc.
Outriggers + 75mm oversize castors – open type wire feeder only. Only for open wire feeder or horizontal suitcase type, provides even better mobility on rough floors.
Air cooled/water cooled – water cooling continuous or on demand (runs when needed). All models can be specified with additional internal water cooling if required with optional only on demand circuit.
Interconnector cable length. 3M, 5M, 10M, 15M, 20M or almost any length can be specified.
Interconnector cable cover type. Standard cover is a denim type zipper cover, this provides best flexibility. Optional tough blue sheathing provides best wear resistance for heavy industry.
Fume extractor output – continuous supply or switched. 230V or 110V output 1500VA to directly power fume extractor. With optional switched on demand output to switch extractor on with welding & delayed off.
F400G super power feeder – open type only. Only consider this for the toughest applications, this has 40mm dia rollers & will drive up to 3.2mm wire all day long.
Water cooling flow switch protection  Stops wire feeder if water flow interrupted to protect welding torch.
Machine outer panel colour Optional Red or yellow instead of blue.
