Description
AUTOTIG500 combines AVC torch height control & cold wire or hot wire feed into one package that can be added to any TIG or PLASMA welding power source for automatic welding.
No interfacing needed, just add onto any existing welding power source to upgrade to automatic welding.
AVC maintains the arc length through any variations in the work piece.
Wire feeder feeds the consumable filler wire into the weld pool. (Wire can be ‘cold wire’ or ‘hot wire’ for the highest productivity).
Wire feed functionality is exactly the same as our popular TIGFEED 40 Automatic.
Suitable for all automatic welding of vessels, valves, pipes, silos, cylinders, containers & weld cladding & overlay etc.

- Wire feed current sensitivity control to set wire start & stop level.
- Wire dabs in synchronisation with welding current on pulse if required.
- Variable pool delay timer allows weld pool to form before starting wire.
- Independent pulsing allows wire dabbing independent of welding current.
- Auto-retract for dabbing wire into the pool on pulse & for perfect finishes.
- 4 roll drive system for powerful & accurate wire feeding.
- Cold wire inching forward & reverse.
- AVC digital display of preset & actual welding volts.
- Torch jog up & down function for manual positioning.
- AVC start delay timer to allow pool to stabilise
- AVC automatic/manual switch allows arc length to be controlled automatically or manually.
- AVC variable sensitivity & speed controls.
- Variable auto lift function allows torch to lift up at end of process.
- Remote control socket gives the operator the option of a hand remote control.
